1 million anti-smoking kits will bw distributed free in pharmacies and GP surgeries as part of a big New Year Health drive.It will consist free nicotine replacement patches are for the first time and replace the current NHS “quick kits”including information on emergency services and motivational material

They will be distributed to pharmacies and operations as part of a government drive to 250 million pounds to help people kick the habit.

According to a research done on mothers in rural Nepal,mothers were given diet of iron and folic acid supplements during pregnancy.

Children whose mothers were given supplements proved to be more sharper and more organized with better skills as compared to the childrens whose mothers did not get them.The study was funded by the National Institutes of Health and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation
